Director of Finance
SUMMARY
Located in the vibrant Atlanta Metro area, Trilith LIVE is designed to host concerts, rehearsals, live audience productions, conventions, corporate meetings, performing arts, tradeshows, exhibitions, special events, and so much more! Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,400-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.
Trilith LIVE is seeking an accomplished venue professional to join the team as Director of Finance. The Director of Finance, personally or through secondary staff or outside vendors, is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities and business lines within Trilith Live, as well as directing its financial vision to support successful operations, growth and profitability. Ensures financial policies and procedures are met in accordance with Trilith Live, generally accepted accounting principles and applicable laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Keeps the mission, vision and values of Trilith Live at the forefront of decision making and action; builds strategic and collaborative relationships and interacts with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; provides excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives, maintains high levels of work and productivity by generating innovative solutions to work situations.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting information by maintaining and operating efficient and effective accounting systems and controls.
• Leads and directs accounting operation to generate maximum efficiency and productivity by developing staff, utilizing meaningful metrics, establishing clear goals and by continuous review of policies and procedures.
• Evaluates internal controls, makes recommendations for improvements, and develops procedures manuals.
• Conducts analysis of key performance indicators.
• Controls and audits all purchasing transactions.
• Evaluates internal controls, makes recommendations for improvements, and coordinate development of procedures manual.
• Directs payroll procedures and HR functions.
• Directs Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other accounting functions.
• Directs and prepares event settlements.
• Prepares financial reports for General Manager and Assistant General Manager, including monthly revenue/expense to budget details.
• Prepares annual budget for review and provides overall direction to ensure budget control.
• Oversee the management and allocation of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) expenses, ensuring accurate budgeting, reporting, and reconciliation in compliance with lease agreements. Collaborate with venue tenants to provide clear communication regarding CAM charges, address inquiries.

• Manage/verify the accuracy of revenue and expense coding, per approved budget.
• Prepares cost analyses and rate studies.
• Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports.
• Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
• Prepares external audit materials and financial reporting.
• Establishes and manages cost control procedures to improve systems.
• Conducts comprehensive training of box office staff.
• Manages box office financial reporting, including sales and other variables.
• Prepares daily cash deposits; manages cash handling procedures.
• Reconciles box office and food and beverage sales and revenue reports.
• Directs accurate record of daily balance of cash received tickets sold, and change bank transactions accurately.
• Maintains the accuracy and integrity of fixed assets.
• Develop and maintain a strong controlled environment and ensure compliance with financial policy and procedures.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES
Directly supervises Full and Part-Time Staff and Vendors
Includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Assistant General Manager and General Manager, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in accounting, preferably in a similar venue or hospitality industry segment.
• Strong experience in finance, accounting, contracts, budgets and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
• Demonstrated experience with handling and maintaining highly confidential information in a discreet manner without breach of confidentiality.
• Strong intellectual capacity, critical and analytical thinker; possesses a fact-based approach to the analysis of business problems and opportunities.
• Experience with financial systems; controls, disciplines, philosophies.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with ability to present financial information in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail.
• Strong systems aptitude and proficiency, including expert Excel skills. Proficiency in other Microsoft Office and accounting/financial reporting systems are strongly preferred.
• Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
