JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
Attendees are invited to immerse themselves in the festivities, which will feature live music performances, vendor booths showcasing unique treasures from local artisans, special pop-up shops from Trilith’s very own Nourish + Bloom, Thumbs Up Diner, Woodstone Bakery, and Sensu, and a variety of delectable offerings from food trucks and vendors. It's an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect on the past, and celebrate the progress made.
Four straight hours of live entertainment will include dance performances, a deejay with games and giveaways, and a variety of musical performances ranging from rap, Motown, soul, and R&B to a party band – all showcasing both cover and original music.
Juneteenth, an essential observance honoring the end of slavery in the United States, holds a special significance as the longest-running African American holiday. Recognizing its importance, the federal government officially declared Juneteenth a holiday on June 17, 2021, to be celebrated annually on June 19.
