More about Kenneth:
Mr. Shiver works as Southern Company's Chief Economist as he leads the company's Costing and Energy Analysis, Forecasting, and Load Research functions. He is responsible for monitoring the economic environment and policy issues that affect the energy usage of customers (such as energy efficiency) and the relationship between the utility and the customer. Additionally his team, develops the forecasts, load research (operational analytics) and costing studies that drive the company’s planning and analysis processes. His department is responsible for working with each of Southern’s retail business units and wholesale operations in the preparation of the company’s outlooks and studies. Mr. Shiver is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and represents the company as needed in the regulatory arena.
