About our speaker:
Janet L. Labuda is Head of Customs and Trade Issues at Maersk Customs Services, where she helps clients address forced labor challenges, including partnering with Altana AI on supply chain solutions. She retired from U.S. Customs and Border Protection after 31 years, where she led national textile trade policy and compliance, working closely with federal agencies, Congress, and international partners. Janet has deep expertise in trade enforcement, supply chain security, and international negotiations, with extensive experience across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. She holds a Master’s from NYU, a BA from St. Joseph’s University, and is a Senior Executive Fellow of the Harvard Kennedy School.
