2025 Day at the Capitol
Join us for an immersive and engaging Day at the Capitol, where participants will gain a firsthand understanding of the legislative process and the importance of advocacy. This program provides an opportunity to connect with state legislators, learn about key issues affecting our community and industries, and explore how policy decisions are made. We will have the opportunity to have lunch at the Capitol with members of our delegation. Please note, this is a joint event with the Leadership Fayette Class of 2025.
Picture with the Governor is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. sharp. We will meet in Room 514 CLOB* from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm for lunch and updates from state officials.
*There is a possibility of a room change.

8:00 a.m. - Meet at Fayette Chamber*
8:15 a.m. - Bus departs Chamber
9:15 a.m. - Bus arrives at the Capitol
9:45 a.m. - Gather for Picture with the Governor (on the steps)
10:00 a.m. - Picture with the Governor
10:15 a.m. - Explore the Capitol, Sit in on session or committee meetings
11:45 a.m. - move to the reserved room (Currently Cloverdell CLOB 514)
12:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Lunch and updates from invited guests and legislators
2:15 p.m. - Board bus back to Chamber
3:15 p.m. - Arrive at Chamber.
