What Every Manager Should Know About AutomationTom Sammon is a Project Manager with the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership at Georgia Tech. He designs robotic systems and helps manufacturing companies to specify and deploy automation in their plants. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Georgia and holds degrees from Georgia Tech and Southern Polytechnic. Tom has worked in automation in the Atlanta area since the late 1980’s , and has managed automation projects throughout North America. He has taught professional education courses and done consulting work with Georgia Tech for 20 years, and is a founding member of RoboGeorgia Initiative.
