TLC Dental Spa Celebrates New Location with Open House

 ATLANTA/WATKINSVILLE (June 21, 2020) – It was all smiles for Dr. Anita Mathew, her family, and the team at TLC Dental Spa (formerly Athens TLC Dental) during a recent open house of their new office at 1021 Barber Creek Drive in Watkinsville, Georgia. A ribbon-cutting organized by the Oconee Chamber of Commerce kicked off festivities.

The 7,500 square foot (SF) new construction building is the latest development project for Randolph Williamson, a commercial real estate company based in Peachtree City, Georgia.

“Dr. Mathew and her husband Liju Kurian were great partners throughout the process,” explains Darrell Baker, VP of Development at Randolph Williamson. “We’re excited to deliver a finished product that will allow their business to expand and thrive.”

The project took about 20 months from entitlement to construction completion. TLC Dental Spa’s Facebook page documents every step of the journey. Photos and videos show the development taking shape, all the way from raw land to selecting decorative fixtures for the interior.

TLC Dental Spa now occupies just over 6,100 SF of the space. The remaining nearly 1,400 SF is available for lease, also through Randolph Williamson. The exterior resembles a resort-style lodge in keeping with the client’s desire for a spa-type of feel.

Reaching this point has been a bit of a dream come true for Mathew who sought to create, “a sanctuary for patients.” She desired and designed “a place where dentistry is done differently, where we exceed our patient expectations. With this larger office, we’ll be able to help more patients, making a bigger impact in our community."

In a recent social media post, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce weighed in on both TLC Dental Spa and their new office. “Not only is their new facility amazing, but Dr. Mathew and her team are also extraordinary.
