Fayette Senior Services, a 501c3 charity, has an immediate position available for an Assistant Sous Chef. The successful candidate has the ability to work in a team environment, a heart for seniors and a special touch in the kitchen. This hands-on position is responsible for preparing desserts, side items, salads, and other foods made from scratch that and are both nutritious and palatable for Senior Center members. Duties include food preparation at breakfast, lunch, and occasional special events, along with cleanup. Qualifications require experience in food preparation, becoming ServSafe certified within 90 days of hire, high school diploma and valid Georgia driver’s license with reliable transportation. Must be able to lift light and heavy boxes and stand for extended periods. Positive attitude and customer-service excellence is a must. M-F, 8am-3pm, 30-36 hrs/wk. Compensation range starts at $14.00/hr. Drug Free Workplace. EOE.
