The Minority Business Division (MBD) is a special initiative of the UGA SBDC. This division provides special attention to the needs of minority entrepreneurs by identifying procurement opportunities locating sources of capital, and supporting outreach efforts of minority business people.
The goal of the Small Business Council is to provide opportunities for training, information sharing, and networking through value-added content and partnerships for small and medium size members of the Chamber. The Chamber has partnered with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a Public Service and Outreach Extension of the University of Georgia, to provide tools, training, and resources to help small businesses grow and succeed.
