The 2026-2027 Fayette County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) update is underway to guide transportation investments over the next 20 years, focusing on safety, mobility, and community needs, including an expanded path and trail network. Key Aspects of the 2026-2027 CTP Update:
Safety & Infrastructure: Focus on Vision Zero, analyzing existing facilities and traffic impacts from developments like Trilith.
Path/Trail Network: Prioritizing the expansion of multi-use paths and pedestrian connectivity.
Project Evaluation: Assessing high-priority areas for improvements, including traffic flow and safety at key intersections.
