DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Christmas Star Run is a holiday event your family will love! The 5K/1-mile fun run is kicked off by our annual Christmas tree lighting. Participants will receive a t-shirt and "glow wear" and are encouraged to dress in festive holiday lights attire.\n\nProceeds from the evening benefit the five Children & Family Programs at Christian City. Christian City was established as a home for children in 1965\, by a collective of churches who saw a need in our community. Today\, Christian City's 500-acre campus serves children of all ages who are struggling with poverty\, homelessness\, neglect or abuse\, helps families who are in crisis and provides affordable housing for over 1\,000 seniors.
