Fayette Chamber of Commerce and Southern Light Cinema Announce Fayette Hero Spotlight Campaign
 
Fayette County (August 26, 2020) - The Fayette Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Southern Light Cinema is launching the Fayette Hero Spotlight campaign, which aims to highlight compelling stories of Fayette County businesses and individuals who have gone above and beyond to serve the community and its essential workers during the ongoing pandemic.

Beginning September 1, the campaign will include a 30-day nomination period, in which community members may nominate an individual or business that has demonstrated outstanding resiliency, displayed a tremendous commitment to Fayette County, or served the community in an exemplary way. The Chamber and Southern Light Cinema are eager to share stories of hope that show the persevering spirit of the Fayette community.
 
All qualifying nominees will be recognized with a “snapshot” on the Fayette County Talent Attraction website (createyourstory.org) and social media platforms. Additionally, Southern Light Cinema will produce a short spotlight video highlighting 2-3 nominees who have truly gone above and beyond to support our community and its essential workers. A panel of local community leaders will review the nominations and identify the most compelling stories to be featured on film.
